2. Definitions
“We”, “Us”, “Our” – Laundry Bliss LTD
“You”, “Customer” – Any individual or business using our services
“Item” – Any garment, textile, soft furnishing or fabric submitted
“Service” – Any laundering, washing, drying, ironing, wetcare or related process
3. Contract Formation
3.1 By submitting items to us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
3.2 A contract is formed once we accept the items for service.
3.3 Submission of items confirms acceptance of risk where outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
4. Services Provided at Discretion
4.1 We reserve the right to launder items not explicitly listed on our service menu at our discretion.
4.2 Items accepted outside standard services are processed entirely at the customer’s risk.
4.3 A signed disclaimer may be required before such items are accepted.
5. Care Labels & Washing Method
5.1 Where care labels are missing, illegible, or contradictory, items will be washed at 30°C and dried on a delicate cycle.
5.2 This does not guarantee prevention of shrinkage, damage, colour loss, or structural deterioration.
5.3 The absence of a care label transfers decision-making risk to the customer.
6. Rewashing & Prior Wash History
6.1 Rewashing an item increases the risk of deterioration, damage, or failure.
6.2 The fact that an item has been previously laundered without issue does not guarantee it will withstand further washing.
6.3 We do not know:

the age of items
-
previous wash history beyond customer statements
-
prior exposure to chemicals, cleaning agents, or water within the home
6.4 We do not provide guarantees on rewashes, including guarantees of cleanliness or condition.
7. Pre-Existing Condition & Chemical Exposure
7.1 Items may have been exposed prior to receipt to household chemicals such as:
-
floor cleaners
-
sprays
-
detergents
-
water ingress
which can weaken fibres or structures invisibly.
7.2 Laundry Bliss LTD is not responsible for damage arising from pre-existing exposure or deterioration.
8. Stains, Marks & Cleaning Results
8.1 Stain and mark removal is not guaranteed.
8.2 Some marks may become more visible after cleaning.
8.3 We use professional-grade emulsifiers and hydrogen peroxide-based products via auto-dosing systems.
8.4 Customers may supply their own products at their own risk.
8.5 We use biological detergents; these do not affect allergy status unless specifically declared in advance.
9. Dry-Clean-Only Items & Wetcare
9.1 We will always advise customers to use a specialist dry-cleaning service for items labelled “dry clean only”.
9.2 If a customer instructs us to wash such items, this is done entirely at the customer’s risk, and no liability will be accepted.
9.3 Wetcare cleaning may be offered where suitable, without guarantee of outcome.
10. Liability & Reasonable Care
10.1 We will always exercise reasonable care and skill in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
10.2 We are not liable for damage caused by:

age or wear
-
fibre or structural failure
-
colour bleeding or fading
-
shrinkage
-
embellishments, trims, fastenings
-
prior treatments or chemical exposure
10.3 Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided unless negligence is proven.
11. Customer Obligations
11.1 Customers must check pockets before submission.
11.2 We are not liable for damage caused by items left inside garments.
11.3 Customers must provide accurate contact details.
12. Uncollected Items
12.1 Items must be collected within 8 weeks of service completion.
12.2 We will attempt to contact the customer using provided details.
12.3 Items uncollected after 8 weeks will be deemed abandoned and donated to charity.
12.4 No compensation will be payable once ownership is deemed relinquished.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 We are not liable for delays or failure caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:

fire
-
flood
-
theft
-
equipment failure
-
power outages
-
supply chain disruption
-
extreme weather
-
acts of God
14. Disputes & Governing Law
14.1 These Terms are governed by English law.
14.2 Mediation should be attempted before legal proceedings.
14.3 Any claim must be brought in England & Wales.
15. Updates
15.1 We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
15.2 Continued use of our services confirms acceptance of the current version.
